In March of 2019 was when I jumped into the work of portrait drawing, which has gifted me the insight of detail, and focus that I hope I can share with you."

Sizing and Rates

Instead of charging for fixed sizes, I charge 30$ an hour for commission pieces specifically. Given that my work is based in realism and that I primarily work in pencil, the average time frame for a commission is somewhere between 6-8 hours. Given this time frame I want to be as flexible as possible when it comes to payment schedules and or pricing for the client. I also charge a deposit fee in advance to the finished work. I do this, so that the client has the power to choose what they desire in terms of size. In addition its gives the client time to feel comfortable in there price for there specialized artwork,which also inhibits the limiting prices of typical artwork commissions elsewhere. On a personal note I feel that with this way of pricing leads to deeper communication on what exactly the recipient would like to see out of the artwork, and helps me as the artist best serve to the idea at hand.
